Accent Lighting
The fixture is placed close to the wall, fence or other landscape
feature, and the light is directed across the surface. This accentuates
the texture of the surface being illuminated.
Moon Lighting
A soft, natural diffuse effect similar to moonlight by projecting
the beam downward from the tree. When the beam passes through branches
and leaves it creates shadows on the ground.
Down and Security Lighting
Placement of downward lighting fixtures. The beam from above may
illuminate an area for security or increased safety, and can be
used for landscape or architectural enhancement.
Silhouetting and Up Lighting
This type of lighting consists of up and back-lighting of landscape
and architectural details, trees or other objects. They will stand
out before the surface, wall or fence and become visually dramatic
landscape or architectural features when illuminated from below.
Shadowing
A traditional effect when the shadow of a tree, landscape feature,
water from a fountain or other object is against a surface (wall,
fence, etc.) by using a strong frontal illumination of the element.
Garden or Pathway Lighting
Lights installed and projected on a walkway or garden, alongside
or from above the illuminated surface. This can provide safety and
security as well as special effects.
Step Lighting
This will clearly illuminate the step area to ensure proper visibility
and is designed for safety.
