Rain sensors are a must on any irrigation system, after all, who wants to have their sprinklers running while it's raining out?
Irrigation by Design includes a rain sensor in all of the irrigation systems we install at no extra charge.
If you prefer, you can upgrade to a moisture sensor, which measures the moisture content in the soil directly.
These sensors cut the power supply to the valves when they detect preset water levels present, so you'll never have to worry about the bad publicity of your system running while it's raining outside.
